PROJECTS & COLLABORATIONS

Our organisation was a product of the pandemic, seeing the devastating impacts of loneliness and social isolation was the driving force to make a change and make a difference. This wouldn't be possible without help from local businesses and charities.

Post It Note Challenge 

We have partnered with local primary schools and care homes to bring positive, heartfelt notes to stick up in their hallways. Residents can read them and know that they are never alone.

​

Our latest installation was in Invicta Court Care Home.

World Mental Health Day 

We partnered with Mid Kent Mind and Fremlin Walk to raise awareness of the mental health support available in the local area and let the public know that it's okay to speak openly about mental health.

Lockmeadow
Tea Party 

The Love Food team at Lockmeadow @ Love Food, Maidstone kindly organised a tea party for our companions. They donated food, drinks and waited on everyone hand and foot. 

​

We loved it so much that we have a Christmas themed one organised for Christmas!

Inspired Friendship's Puzzle Swap

The amazing Idony from Inspired Friendships organised a puzzle swap and raised a massive £60 for Wishing Hearts!

We couldn't do what we do without the support of the local community.

Emergo, our #1 fan

Emergo, a local EPOS provider, has been supporting us from the very beginning. Offering donations and volunteer time throughout the year. 

​

Last Christmas they personally delivered over 100 Christmas care packages to local care homes and this year, gone one step further by organising a Christmas themed coffee morning. 

Tesco's Book Stand

Tesco, Grove Green ran a book stand in store and raised a huge £376.40 for Wishing Hearts!

Thrilled to have support from so many local supermarkets across Maidstone.

Lockmeadow @ Love Food
Event 

Wishing hearts are an amazing charity, they support people, who for whatever reason, are lonely and missing out on companionship. With regular meetups and trips out, there's always something going on for the group. Love Food at Lockmeadow throughly enjoyed hosting a lunch party for the group, there were lots of smiles and laughter.
